Delete your Poliamore account

You can delete your account and your data at any time.

From the app (recommended)

Open Poliamore and go to Profile > Settings > Account > Delete my account. We will ask for your password (or to type DELETE if you sign in with Google or Apple).

Enter your account email. We will send you a link to confirm the deletion (expires in 1 hour).

What happens when you delete your account

• Your account is deactivated immediately: nobody can see your profile and your sessions are closed.
• Upcoming plans you organized are cancelled and attendees are notified.
• You have 30 days to change your mind: if you sign in within that period you can restore it.
• After 30 days we delete your profile, photos, likes, matches and private album. Your messages in other people’s chats are replaced with "message deleted" and your reviews remain as "Deleted user".
• We keep, in limited form, safety reports and the moderation log, without your email or profile, when the law or community safety justifies it.
